ING Discerning Eye 
2024 Exhibition

The ING Discerning Eye 2024 is now open at the Mall Galleries in London.

Free To See from 15 to 24 November

The exhibition is free to see and open daily from Friday 15 November to Sunday 24 November 2024.

 

Featuring 685 works selected from over 6,000 submissions to a UK-wide competition, the ING Discerning Eye 2024 is curated by six respected selectors, including curator Will Gompertz, artist Adebanji Alade, and interior designer Gabrielle Blackman.

 

Artworks span across print, sculpture, painting, video, photography and more, offering a showcase of diverse UK talent.

Daily artist demonstrations will be held at the Mall Galleries.

Sculpture Prize, £300: Ben Russell, Modus.

 

Portrait Prize, £300: Ruth Fitton, Attitude (study).

Parker Harris Mentoring Prize: Victoria Rees, Vic, You Have 45 Minutes.

 

Seven regional prizes, worth £250 each, were awarded by the board of Discerning Eye to outstanding talent around the UK:

 

Wales: Richard Prentice, Anthropogenic Lidded Vase.

 

North of England: Richard Baker, Unit 5.

 

Northern Ireland: Hannah O’Hagan Guinness No.3.

 

Scotland: Donald Macdonald, Paper No.1.

 

South of England: Louise Lawton, Thirteen.
